Constance grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia and comes to PMPR with a passion to thrive in the big city. She achieved a bachelor of arts degree in mass communication from the University of Delaware and quickly obtained a career in public relations upon graduation. Her collegiate experience focused on journalism, as she was a features and copy editor for her alma mater’s newspaper, driving her interest in reading and writing. Constance’s beauty experience began when she worked for three years as a stylists assistant at Essentials Salon and Day Spa. Her enthusiasm for the beauty industry, as well as media, continued to grow and developed into her adjunct to Pierce Mattie Public Relations, Inc.
Since joining the company in 2002, Constance has held the positions of trade media manager and executive group media manager, catapulting her into her current role as executive national director in the consumer division of the company. Constance’s roles include managing top tier accounts and overseeing all aspects of media relations for her clients, traveling to industry events to represent clients as well as PMPR and planning and executing media tours, press trips and product launches.
In 2003, Constance received an award for “Media Tour of the Year,” after completing a three day tour with 25 of the top publications and media outlets in New York City. Constance’s clients have appeared in Self, Lucky, Harper’s Bazaar, Allure, W, Cargo, GQ, Good Day Atlanta, Six Feet Under, 8 Simple Rules, Date Patrol, Shadowboxer and many more media outlets. In the future, Constance hopes to pursue an education in esthetics and open a medical spa.
