Pierce
Mattie has trained estheticians in over 20 countries. His How-to
articles educating estheticians on spa services for men have been
published in the USA by Skin Inc. magazine and in England
by The Guild of Professional Beauty. Additionally, Mattie
has been featured in more than 80 consumer magazines including Mirabella,
Men’s Health and Allure, and has worked
as the men’s grooming editor for three national consumer magazines.
He has appeared on CBS Nightly News in New York, ABC
Day News in Miami, Channel 5 Fox News in New Jersey,
and The Sally Jessie Raphael Show.
In
2001, Mattie was the first esthetician ever to be appointed by the
U.S. government to volunteer for the Citizens Democracy Corp. in
Washington, DC, where he worked in St. Petersburg, Russia.
