Project Runway at Olympus Fashion Week 2007

My favorite television show of all time is Project Runway – hands down. Where has this show been all my life? I watch it religiously each week in anticipation with my eyes glued intently at the display of newly created fashions on my television monitor, all to be verbally glorified or trashed by reality TV’s most beloved fashion police swat team – Heidi Klum, Michael Kors and Nina Garcia. With an estimated viewership of over 3.9 million households, I was not surprised to learn that the Project Runway fashion show was the hottest ticket in town during Olympus Fashion Week 2007.

A reliable media source close to me was lucky enough to snatch the most coveted ticket in NY and gave this fashionista the inside scoop. Michael Knight’s collection was described as “bold colors and designs reflecting a street safari theme”; Laura Bennett’s was “lots of black, minimal color and all cocktail/evening wear”; Uli Herzner's was described as being “traditionally Uli, which is her signature print dress” and Jeffrey Sebelia's was described as “rock and roll sophisticated, chic and fun”.

Only three contestants will be seen when the Emmy nominated Project Runway finale airs on Oct. 18. I’m crossing my fingers for my favorite designer to be victorious on the reality runway. Watch what happens!
