These Boots...

Nothing cures cold weather blues like a hot pair of shoes. Therefore, as my shoeholic nature requires, I’ve been scouring shoe stores for a new high (heel that is). The desired fix this time around has been a pair of not-too-loud red cowboy boots. I’ve come across a few, and as I checked the bottoms for the price, one name appeared on most of my favorites- Jessica Simpson. (Feel free to insert your own “These Boots are Made for Walkin’” joke here.) I must comment that in light of her split with Nick, the song and the boots were never more appropriate, though. It seems they’d be all over the web with the holidays approaching, but I haven’t seen them as much as I thought I would.

Speaking of “Made for Walkin,” I’d be remiss not to mention that they really are comfy and are one of the few styles of boots that work year-round. This is especially true if you have the figure to rock the hot-again daisy dukes. They are also just as appropriate for young chickies as they are for us grown gals. Oh! If you’re concerned that boots make your toes smell icky, I’ve got a fix for that too: Earth Therapeutics Tea Tree Liquid Foot Powder.
