Where the girls aren't.

It was so gay…..the only woman there was the bartender (but when it’s an Instinct Magazine party, all we care about are the gift bags).

Last night I went with friends and fellow Pierce Mattians to Instinct Magazine’s “Leading Men / Anniversary Party.” The event was held at Guesthouse in far west-Chelsea and the place was packed with trendy gay boys slurping up the mixed drinks provided by SKYY Vodka. Like most magazine parties, it was the standard S&M scene (that’s Stand & Model, silly). The guys stood around talking to their friends and throwing casual scoping glances at each other. But it was fun!

The drinks kept flowing longer than most parties, and those glances turned to actual conversation for once with everyone quite friendly and social. Miss Richfield hosted the event with a live performance by recording artist Lola, who was wearing one hot little number (vintage Missoni??). The whole party had a blast and there were many new friends and acquaintances made.

The night ended with everyone clamoring for a gift bag stuffed with all kinds of goodies. I immediately went home and unpacked mine to find CD’s, Redken grooming products and some fab Ginch Gonch underwear (super comfy).

My only question is what was with the random table of crudité??
