Everyone experiences stress, most of us every day and some more than others. We stress over daily issues such as our health, getting to work on time, finances, family members and so on. The StressEraser is a portable biofeedback device developed by Helicor to reverse how your body biologically copes with stress through fine tuning the rate at which you breathe. Helicor calls it “ergotropic tuning,” the way the nerves in your body respond to stress. Tension headaches, sore muscles, it’s all related.
The way it works is to insert your finger into the left hand slot and hit start. The StressEraser is able to “read” how your system paces its breathing during bouts of anxiety and stress and help you to focus on proper pacing of your breathing to get you to a healthy level in 15 minute sessions. All of this is done through a point system and Helicor points out that while you will notice a difference the first time you use it, after two weeks you will feel the difference all day long and after a month the fine tuning will become part of your life.
Besides using this device during the day when most of us are focusing on our stress and anxiety, the StressEraser is said to be the most beneficial when used before bed. After all, everyone knows that a good night’s sleep is the key to a healthy mind and body. The StressEraser will help you to adjust your breathing rate and focus on melting your anxiety away helping you to achieve a more pleasant, restful sleep. Just imagine getting restful sleep each night, I think that is something most of us desire.
