In honor of the new film Perfume, The Story of a Killer, I’ve assembled my list of some of my favorite fragrances for this holiday season. Some are sweet, others are sinful and a few may stop people dead in their tracks.

Euphoria Blossom by Calvin Klein

Calvin Klein is a true American staple, both in fashion and fragrances. The new Euphoria Blossom, available exclusively at Sephora, is a light floral scent inspired by a flower in bloom. As such, the perfumers have elegantly married pomegranate, dewy green accord, orchid, pink peony and amber to produce a scent that will continue to blossom throughout the day. Euphoria Blossom retails for $65.

Lavanda Tonica by ACQUA DI PARMA

I’m a huge fan of ACQUA DI PARMA fragrances. They combine simplicity with classic scents packaged in clean-lined bottles. The new Lavanda Tonica combines notes of lavender, orange blossom, bergamont and musk to create a soothing smell that both men and women can appreciate. A 1.7 ounce bottle retails for $56.

Sean Jean Unforgivable

No one understands exclusivity and luxury like Diddy. Unforgivable is a new limited edition scent from Sean Jean. It combines cashmere accord with rum and amber to induce a seductive scent that will have you dancing to a bold new beat. Sean Jean Unforgivable Gift Set retails for $55, while the fragrance alone goes for $55 to $75.

KenzoAmour

I’m a visual person, so when it comes to choosing a scent I always take into account how the bottle will look when showcased in my bathroom. The new KenzoAmour fragrance looks more like a sculptural accent than a fragrance bottle. Fusing soft, feminine scents from around the world like Japanese cherry blossoms, Bali frangipani blossoms and white tea from China, Kenzo continues the feminine theme throughout, down to the hour glass-shaped bottles available in three different sizes and colors. KenzoAmour ranges in price from $48 to $85.

Polo Double Black

If you’re like me, you need a little jolt of caffeine to help get you started in the morning. One spritz of Ralph Lauren’s new fragrance and you’ll be ready to take on the day. Polo Double Black blends together notes of coffee, spiced mango, nutmeg, vetiver and cardamom to produce an intense fragrance that will keep you going full steam ahead all day long. Polo Double Black retails for $47.50 to $65.
