Sony Is Anti-Pierce Mattie's "Megaphone Man" With It's New Headphone Campaign.

If you look over to the right at the top of the blog you'll see our Megaphone Man. He represents our ability to cut past all the "noise" and reach people with our clients message. Sony has a creative ad campaign actually targeted at Bose noise canceling headphones for travelers, not Pierce Mattie. It's a interesting AD campaign when you take it out of context and apply it to reaching today's consumer. Think about consumer journalism, blogging, social networks and to mobilization of communication on web enabled smart phones with advertising built in. The ads definitely make the megaphone look less desirable as a positive communication device, as does Ty Pennington when he's being obnoxious on the blow horn.

The ad in my opinion is a good one, clean, gets the message across immediately, has those muted pastel colors that have been popular for so long, and good execution on the photo editing.
