Tricia Cherry’s Advice for Preventing and Reversing Skin Damage
1. Drink one glass of water an hour. Water is important for the skin because it flushes toxins.
2. Avoid sugar, salt, preservatives, alcohol, and nicotine as much as possible because they are destructive for the skin.
3. If you do not have a balanced diet, take a daily multi vitamin. The following vitamins are essential for skin health:
- Vitamin A reduces enlarged pores and blemishes
- Vitamin B prevents dry patches and sallow skin
- Vitamin C helps create firmer skin
- Vitamin E prevents a tired looking complexion by bringing oxygen to the skin.
4. Eating a balanced diet full of veggies, fruits, and other fiber rich foods is essential for glowing skin. Have breakfast everyday to look and feel more vibrant.
5. Exercise and sweat for rosy cheeks. Exercise increases blood flow, which provides more oxygen to the skin.
6. Get at least 8 hours of sleep.
7. Cleanse, tone, and moisturize daily with quality skincare products.
8. Exfoliate 2-3 times a week.
9. Use day and night time serums, which increase the efficacy of other skincare products.
10. Do not cherry pick when it comes to skincare products. Pick a system and stick with it to maximize benefits. Mixing and matching could dilute the effectiveness of your skincare products.
The aging process begins at the age of 25. Eighty percent of a person's lifetime sun exposure is acquired before age 18. Tricia’s best advice for preventing wrinkles and future damage is using a quality skincare line such as Skingenic. Skingenic is a new luxury skincare line that has modernized the beauty philosophies of Southeast Asia’s Indochine women. Using fresh Lychee fruit native to the Indochine area, Skingenic has created the recipe for youthful skin.
