Designer Waters: Is It Weird That I Can Actually Tell The Difference?

I have always been worried by the fact that I have preferences in bottled water. I can actually engage in a reasonable conversation about the relative merits of Fiji vs. Smart Water, my distate for Evian, and the genius marketing behind Voss. There is water for bankers and gym bunnies, ethical water and flavored water.

Water it seems is the newest luxury lifestyle commodity. There are actual water afficienados on this good earth. Fine Waters is Michael Mascha's vision of the bottled water lifestyle.

High-end restaurants now have water lists in addition to wine lists, water bars are opening up around the globe, and gourmet markets are selling dozens of different varieties of domestic and imported bottled waters. Consumers are beginning to recognize that bottled water, like wine, has a unique identity that is defined by its origin. "

Water is indeed everywhere. Mr Mischa has a very impressive list of waters around the world, everywhere from Iceland to Egypt is represented. My personal favorite country to represent with water is the Netherlands-a water based country and economy if there ever was one. They have OGO Water. Ogo water is known as the breating water because it has an oxygen content that is thirty five times higher than regular water.
