Chanel Fashion Show - Karl, Grand Central and Celebs, oh my!

This week as I was walking in Grand Central running to work, I noticed a big ruckus on the main floor. There were lights, there were cameras and there was action. I wondered what the big deal was but I went about my day as usual. I went back for a small lunch time adventure to see if there were any new developments. And there was! A beautiful Chanel symbol had appeared. My mind raced as to what could possibly be happening and then I realized it must be some type of show.

Yes, ladies and gents Karl Lagerfield decided to show his Cruise collection in Grand Central Terminal. It was unique, it was daring, it WAS Chanel! Such stars as the new OC alum Mischa Barton (see Nafi’s blog) and Naomi Watts were in attendance. Personally, I think Karl outshined himself and I think he even thought so too as he was photographing his own collection as top models sashayed down the runway. Just when you think fashion can’t get any more fabulous, Chanel proves it can and it will.

Only in Manhattan people, only in Manhattan!
