Tassels, as I found out this week, are NOT just for curtains anymore. After a brief shopping trip and paging through the September issues of my favorite beauty and fashion magazines, I noticed tassels everywhere! Let me just state for the record how heinous I think they are and if anyone ever sees me wearing one, please feel free to bring me back to reality.
Tassels are being found everywhere from shoes, handbags and jewelry and just because it’s in, doesn’t mean it’s OK – case in point ankle boots! Don’t even get me started on ankle boots. I left mine back in the 80’s where they belong and I don’t plan on going back to get them. One trend I am a huge fan of these days are tights. I loved em’ growing up and I still love them and think they look so great with a skirt or dress. But remember ladies, spandex is a privilege not a right so use discretion and make sure your stems are in tip-top shape before putting a pair on and stepping out in public!
